Arsenal boss Arteta gives injury updates on Gabriel, Ben White and Kai Havertz
Gunners manager Mikel Arteta previews Arsenal's tough trip to Everton's new stadium and so much more
Arsenal travel to Merseyside for their first visit to Everton's new stadium on Saturday evening.
The North London giants could start the match in second place at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with Manchester City hosting relegation-threatened West Ham in the afternoon.
The Arsenal boss spoke about his injured players including pivotal centre-back Gabriel.
Speaking at London Colney on Friday morning, Arteta said: “He is pushing hard, evolving really well and doing pitch sessions."
Adding of the Brazil central defender who celebrated his 28th birthday on Friday, Arteta confirmed: "He is not too far [from returning].”
Arteta also provided an injury update on Ben White, who limped out of last weekend's 2-1 victory over Wolves at the Emirates, saying: “He’s out [for Everton]“He’s evolving well. Not a major injury but it'll keep him out for a few games.”
Arsenal boss Arteta also spoke about Kai Havertz: “He is progressing well and quite fast.
“We are really positive if everything continues like that in the next training sessions, he is going to be with us soon.”
