Arsenal defender confirms he will be exiting the club this summer

Arsenal left-back Luis Brown is set to join West Ham on a permanent deal after the 18-year-old's contract with the Gunners was no renewed.

Brown had previously hinted at a permanent move to the Irons on his Instagram story, sharing an image of himself in training with the London Stadium outfit, complete with eye emojis.

The Gooner has been charting Brown's career, with the young gun mostly appearing at left-back in the red and white of the Arsenal U18s.

However, the youngster has been on trial with the Hammers since March, with the talented teen aiming to make a permanent move from North to East London since then, appearing at centre-back in claret and blue during his three month trial.

Brown eventually made five appearances for the West Ham U18s up to the end of the 2023-24 season, including four wins.

Ironically, the young Irons' biggest defeat with the defender in the side was an 8-1 rout by Arsenal, with Gunners' hot prospect Chido Martin Obi netting five goals.

The Gooner understands that the player's representatives and West Ham are working on a deal for Brown.
