Arsenal face travel headache after Friday flight to Leeds cancelled
Arsenal take on Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday but have been forced to make alternative travel arrangements after team flight cancelled
Arsenal's preparations for Saturday afternoon's clash at Leeds United have suffered a jolt after their flight to Yorkshire cancelled due to thick fog.
The Gunners had their airbourne departure to Leeds/Bradford airpot cancelled on Friday afternoon, with the North Londoners drafting in coaches to travel to 175 miles from the club's training HQ London Colney to west Yorkshire.
With the short flight cancelled, Arteta's squad travelled on coaches to take them to Leeds ahead of tomorrow’s 3pm kick-off, grappling with the usual M1 delays on a Friday evening.
Arsenal are currently three matches without a win in the Premier League, with draws against Liverpool and Nottingham Forest preceding last weekend's loss by Man United.
