Arsenal have confirmed that goalkeeper Manu Zinsberger has torn her anterior cruciate ligament.
The Gooner Fanzine understands the injury was confirmed on Wednesday after the 29-year-old sustained it during Tuesday's training session.
Zinsberger will face an extended period on the sidelines, for at least the remainder of the 2025/26 season.
The Austrian shot-stopper will undergo surgery in due course, and is being closely supported by Arsenal's medical team.
"It’s a tough one to take, but that’s part of the game," Zinsberger posted on Instagram.
"What helps me most right now is the incredible support around me – my teammates, family and friends. I’m truly grateful for every message, every call, every bit of encouragement.
"Setbacks are part of the journey, and I’ll face this one with patience, positivity and determination. For now, I’ll be the loudest cheerleader for my teams Arsenal and Austria."

Arsenal's first choice goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar will miss the upcoming international fixtures for the Netherlands due to fitness issues.
The 25-year-old has started every game this season for the Gunners but has battled injury issues since the end of 2024/25.
Summer signing Anneke Borbe was not named in the squad for Thursday's 2-0 win away to Benfica due to illness, with 17-year-old Amy Liddiard named on the bench.
