Crystal Palace in talks to sign out-of-favour Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga on loan

Arsenal Invincible Patrick Vieira is aiming to bolster his squad on deadline day - and has his sights set firmly on Gunners midfielder Lokonga.

The former Gunners is looking to bring in reinforcements at Selhurst Park ahead of the deadline at 11pm today, (Tuesday, January 31) and believes the 23-year-old former Anderlecht player fits the bill. 

Lokonga has failed to make an impact during his season and a half in North London, starting just two league games for Mikel Arteta's Premier League table toppers this term, with the Arsenal boss preferring a midfield trio of Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard whi have helped lead the Gunners to the top of the pile. 

Palace want the loan deal to run until the end of the season, in a move thaat would suit both parties.
