Arsenal's highly-rated Charlie Patino has joined Championship side Blackpool on a season-long loan deal.

The talented 18-year-old joined our academy aged eleven from Luton Town and has represented our youth teams throughout the age categories.

Charlie made 21 appearances in all competitions last season, including two with the first team.

The exciting young midfielder's first team debut was a true fairytale after he came off the bench to score in our 5-1 win over Sunderland, in the Carabao Cup last December.

Arsenal said of their highly-regarded star: "We wish Charlie all the best for his loan spell at Blackpool and look forward to seeing his continued development."
