It’s official! Eze signs for The Arsenal as the Emirates gives £68m England star rousing welcome
The Emirates has given new signing Eze a rousing welcome after the 27-year-old England international was introduced to the crowd before the Premier League clash against Leeds United on Saturday.
The Gunners landed the talented former Arsenal academy youngster from Crystal Palace in a four year deal worth £60m, including £8m in add-ons, to become seventh summer signing - beating bitter rivals and failed Eze suitors Tottenham.
Eze had been one of Thomas Frank's main targets this summer, with the Lilywhites even agreeing terms with both Palace and Eze.
However, once the news of Kai Havertz broke Arsneal sporting director Andrea Bertha quickly moved for Eze on Wednesday - giving the boyhood Gooner the chance to regain the North London giants after starting his youth career with the club.
