Arsenal U21 vs Newcastle U21: New signings Evan Mooney and Jaden Dixon sent to feature
Here's Nick Manfredi with his Arsenal Academy preview as the U21s host Newcastle U21s in Premier League2 at Meadow Park
Arsenal’s Young Guns will be looking to extend their unbeaten run in Premier League 2 when they host Newcastle United at Boreham Wood tonight, Friday (February 13).
Max Porter’s side currently sit 12th in the table on 19 points after 12 matches with the top 16 entering the play offs to determine the league champions.
A run of three straight clean sheets has helped us to seven points in our last three games despite last week’s tepid goalless draw with Everton.
The visitors are currently languishing in 24th on 12 points and require a drastic upturn in results if they are to make a play off push.
The young guns will be without Charles Sagoe Jr who has joined Swedish side Kalmar FF for the entirety of 2026.
We can expect to see more outings for new January arrivals Jaden Dixon and Evan Mooney who both made their debuts in the draw with Everton.
Kick off is at 7pm and the game will be streamed live on Arsenal.com.
For those who wish to come down and support the youngsters, it will be free entry for all.
