Arsenal U21s preview vs Everton
Max Porter's side are back in form after a strong finish to January: Here's Nick Manfredi's Arsenal Academy preview ahead of Friday night's clash at Meadow Park
Arsenal U21s take on Everton at Meadow Park on Friday night as they look to kickstart what has been a mixed bag of a campaign so far.
Max Porter's Young Guns sit slap bang in mid table after 11 games, although back-to-back wins over Burnley and Leeds potentially indicate we are on an upward trajectory.
Despite Everton being within our vicinity in the table, they are in good form at the minute, winning four of their last five games including impressive wins over Manchester City and Tottenham.
We can expect a hugely physical battle with the Toffees as both sides scramble for some upward movement in the table as the climax of the campaign looms large.
As always, it’s difficult to predict starting lineups at this level but expect the U21 regulars such as Charles Sagoe Jr and Andre Harriman-Annous to play prominent roles.
Entry to the home of Boreham Wood is free and kick off is at 7pm.
For those who can’t make it, the game will be streamed live on the Arsenal website.
That’s your Friday evening sorted!
