Arsenal are back in action this evening in the decisive Europa League round of 16 match-up against Sporting Lisbon.

With the score currently tied at 2-2, it’s all to play for tonight at the Emirates in the second leg to decide who will advance to the next round of the competition.

It was a hectic game out in Lisbon, as both sides struggled to get a grasp of the game with it becoming an almost end-to-end contest with little control of the fixture.

Mikel Arteta played a strong side in Portugal which was not perhaps expected with the Premier League fixtures coming thick and fast, there will be debate before tonight’s game as to whether adjustments will be made.

Gabriel Jesus made his return last Sunday in the win against Fulham, there is talk that the Brazilian could start this evening at the Emirates.

There are no new injuries to report for Arsenal, with Eddie Nketiah awaiting his return and still regaining fitness.

As for Sporting, the Portuguese giants will be without two crucial players due to suspension; captain Sebastian Coates and Hidemasa Morita were booked in the first leg.

It’s a crucial game in the bigger picture of Arsenal’s season, as a win tonight opens a European cup run, falling out of the cup would turn our full attention to the Premier League.

All eyes on North London tonight with kick off at 20.00 at the Emirates.
