Arsenal come into the match having beaten Orlando City on Wednesday night, while Thomas Tuchel's Blues lost on penalties to Charlotte FC from North Carolina.

New Arsenal signing Oleksandr Zinchenko is expected to play a part in the match, after signing from Manchester City. 

Fellow summer arrival Fabio Vieira traineed with his new teammates after a foot injury but could short for the game.

Emile Smith Rowe and full-backs Kieran Tierney and Takehiro Tomiyasu missed the win over Orlando on Wednesday as they continue to recover from minor injuries. Keepers Bernd Leno and Runar Alex Runarsson were also omitted from the matchday squad.
