Arsenal Women beat Everton Women 1-0 at the weekend.

Viv Miedema's goal ensured the Gunners kept the heat on Women's Super League title chasers Chelsea and Manchester United.

Miedema netted on 24 minutes to fire past Emily Ramsey as the goal proved enough for Jonas Eidevall's side to return to winnng ways after seeing their 14-match winning run ended by Manchester United a fortnight ago.

Arsenal welcomed back England captain Leah Williamson after a two-month absence because of a foot injury, with the 25-year-old coming on as a second-half-substitute.

A 14th successive win over Everton moved Arsenal level on 21 points in second spot with Manchester United, who earlier beat Aston Villa 5-0, and three points behind Chelsea who routed Leicester 8-0.
