Arsenal Women team vs Corinthians: Predicted lineup for FIFA Women's Champions Cup final

Renee Slegers could win her second trophy as Arsenal Women head coach on Sunday

Arsenal Women could make history by becoming the first team to claim the FIFA Women's Champions Cup, should the Gunners beat Brazilian side Corinthians at Emirates Stadium.

Corinthians beat National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) champions Gotham 1-0, whilst Arsenal thrashed Moroccan side AS FAR 6-0 in the semi-finals.

Renee Slegers said Leah Williamson is "working towards" returning to the Arsenal squad for the final in N5. Chloe Kelly returned from injury as a second-half substitute against AS FAR.

Daphne van Domselaar was not involved in the squad in midweek, with Slegers telling the Gooner Fanzine: “She has an issue that still needs care. And we chose this week to help her and take care of her, to help make her available. Keep her out of the squad today for her hopefully to be back soon in the squad.”

Predicted starting lineup:

Goalkeeper: Anneke Borbe

Back four: Katie McCabe, Steph Catley, Lotte Wubben-Moy, Emily Fox

Midfield: Kim Little, Mariona Caldentey

Attack: Caitlin Foord, Frida Maanum, Olivia Smith

Upfront: Alessia Russo
