Arsenal Women v Real Madrid team news: Maanum, Smith and Kelly start

Renee Slegers makes two changes from the goalless draw with Tottenham




Olivia Smith and Chloe Kelly both start out wide for Arsenal Women against Real Madrid in a crucial Champions League fixture for Renee Slegers’ side.

The Gunners are winless in their last three games in all competitions, and Slegers has made three changes from the 0-0 draw away to Spurs on Sunday.

Frida Maanum replaces Stina Blackstenius, whilst Smith and Kelly come in for Mead and Foord.

Kyra Cooney-Cross keeps her place in midfield against former Barcelona star Mariona Caldentey. Holders Arsenal came from behind to beat Real Madrid in last season’s Champions League quarter-finals.
