Aston Villa 2-1 Arsenal: Emiliano Buendia's late winner moves Villa within three points of the Gunners
Emi Buendia scored with the last kick of a hard-fought clash as Aston Villa broke Arsenal hearts to move three points behind the Premier League leaders.
On a dramatic afternoon at Villa Park in the early kick-off in the west Midlands, Emiliano Buendia's goal gave Unai Emery's Villa a late 2-1 win over leaders Arsenal.
The victory moved the Villians up to second spot in table after Matty Cash's opener, and Leandro Trossard second half leveller had earlier traded goals.
Eberechi Eze had an early goal disallowed for Arsenal, but Trossard's sixth goal of the season looked to have earned a point for Arsenal after he cancelled out Cash's opener.
That was until former Arsenal target Buendia struck with the last kick of the match, to hand Villa victory in front of 42,888 fans inside Villa Park.
