Bayern Munich are considering a shock £10m swoop for an Arsenal defender currently at Euro 2024.

New Bayern boss Vincent Kompany is weighing up a bid for Arsenal's Kieran Tierney.

With Real Madrid edging ever nearer landing Munich's highly-rated left-back Alphonso Davies, there will be a vacancy in the German giants backline.

With his vast experience in the Premier League as a player, and last term as Burnley boss, Kompany is on the lookout for a left-back who won't break the bank, as he embarks on a rebuilding project at the Bundesliga giants - and Tierney fits the bill perfectly.

The Gunners defender is deemed surplus to requirements at the Emirates, spending last season on loan at Real Sociedad.

Tierney, 27, Tierney came through the Celtic youth system and made his first-team debut in April 2015, and his full international debut in March 2016 - and will be aiming to win his 46th cap against Germany, ironically in Munich on Friday evening.

A good performance against Julian Naglesmann's Mannschaft in Group A to start Euro 2024 will go a lonng way to convincing Kompany to take Tierney to Germany.
