Big Game Ahead: What Should Arsenal Fans Expect?

Arsenal is a famous English professional soccer team from London that has had a global fan following since 1922. Due to exciting gameplay strategies, enthusiastic players and anticipation, Arsenal has over 750 million fans. The Premier League standing is a major determining factor for the winners in the upcoming game. It is a big deal for Arsenal fans as they haven't been winning in this league for a long time.

Last Sunday, on May 11, Arsenal drew against Liverpool 2-2. As per the schedule for football matches, Arsenal faced Newcastle on 18 May, 2025 and the result was Aresnal 1:0 Newcastle. Fans are really excited for the next match. Many experts of the Gambling 'N Go football prediction are anticipating their win for a chance to make some profit.

Current Situation in Arsenal

It is true that Arsenal are heading in the right direction; however, recruitment is still a major issue. They didn't sign a striker last summer because the lines are thinning between success and failure, especially when the stakes are high. Another noticeable fact is that Arsenal have never won in a row before.

Arsenal did admit that trying to sign Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa is anything to blame for a trophyless season. However, this is not the only underlying reason for their defect. Although it is true that this game is not the title decider, some gooners did anticipate a win. Both sides are willing to give their best.

Fans are anticipating this much-needed win, where every fixture is feeling like one step closer to the trophy. Experts are predicting that rotations can be a key-winning strategy that may turn the tide in favour of Arsenal. This is due to the young squad competing against the intense psychological demands of the game.

Fans Expectations for Win

Gooners are anticipating the highest performance from major players like Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, William Saliba and Kieran Tierney.  The craving for the cup is increasing with every match.

Arsenal fans are speculating about the skills of the manager, Mikel Arteta, as it is Arsenal's third consecutive year of a runner-up finish. It is because no player has managed to score 25 league goals in a single season. The last time this happened was Thierry Henry in 2004-05.

All hopes now rest heavily on the shoulders of Saka, who is a promising candidate to match Salah's level. However, his presence was compromised due to a 4-month-long absence following a hamstring surgery. Fans are predicting that the 23-year-old player will be able to pick up where he left off. This can be a game-changer for Arsenal, boosting their much-needed scoreboard.

In the recent season, he became the fourth-youngest player to reach 100 Premier League goals, behind Michael Owen, Wayne Rooney and Robbie Fowler. Hopefully, this upward trajectory can close the gap for victory in the upcoming matches.

Prediction for Arsenal

Arsenal have a strong record with Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard. This hints at the victory in the reverse fixture. However, Arsenal is operating without the chief creator, Odegaard. Irrespective of the game venue, Arsenal only lost one match when both Odegaard and Saka were playing.

It is evident that away from home, Newcastle has always struggled against good teams. History suggests that Sunday's spot is a prime opportunity for Arsenal. The current odds are looking good for Arsenal, although experts speculate on the chances of a draw. Of course, nothing can be said just yet with Mikel Merino returning from his suspension on the final day,

Arsenal Fans Expect Win

Team Arsenal must pick up some much-needed points in the upcoming two final games. It can ensure their victory and maintain their spot in the league. Mikel Arteta has confirmed that his men have a key clash at home with Newcastle before this match. However, if they lose this, it may bring further pressure to win on the final day to secure their place at Europe’s top table.

The pressure is increasing, and Arsenal must ensure they don't let second place slip away. Per the latest scoreboard, Liverpool is 83, Arsenal 68 and Newcastle United stands at 66.

Now Newcastle United requires one more win over Arsenal to reach the second spot. If Arsenal manages this next win, it can bring the points to 71.

However, Arsenal could be flat, similar to their disappointment in Paris. The team had to go after their loss in the semi-final stage when they lost 2-1 against Paris Saint-Germain. If all is well, they could come out firing and pump up for the Sunday, May 25, game with Southampton

Southampton conceded nine league-high penalties this season, which can decrease their winning chances. However, Arsenal also have their penalties. Fans are predicting that the last match being hosted at Goodison Park can decrease Southampton's winning chances.

But, for now, let's hope for the best!
