Brentford boss Thomas Frank: Point is a good result at Arsenal
Bees supremo Frank pleased with point at Arsenal after Wissa cancels out Partey's opener
Brenford boss Thomas Frank has praised his team after sealing a hard-earned point at Arsenal on Saturday evening.
With the Gunners distracted ahead of their crucial Champions League quarter-final second leg clash at the Bernabeu next week against Real Madrid, following the North Londoners outstanding 3-0 victory, Frank hailed his side.
"Of course, it is a very good point against a very good Arsenal team that beat Real Madrid four days ago," Bees boss Frank said after the match.
"Fighting back to get to 1-1 shows the character in our team. I would have loved us to create more but they also defended very well.
"We defended extremely well, we limited Arsenal to very little throughout the game. I'd have liked us to create a little more - now I'm maybe getting greedy a little bit."
With the Bees leapfrogging Crystal Palace into 11th spot and all but securin g their firth successive season in the Premier League, Frank added: "We would love to compete for Europe and aim for as high as possible in many ways.
"That is what we are fighting for every single year and game.
"We are never celebrating a point but it is a very good point.
"We will keep pushing."
