Arsenal lose 1-0 at home to PSG: Find out who impressed with our Player Ratings

Gunners frustrated as Ousmane Dembele's early goal hands Luis Enrique's side Champions League advantage

Here's View From The Armchair's Player Ratings on a frustrating night for the Arsenal

David Raya: 7.5/10 - conceded early on, made some important saves to keep it at 1-0. Tried hard to get the crowd fired up.

Jurrien Timber: 7/10 - slowly worked his way into the game, kept honest by the quality of the opposition.

William Saliba: 7.5/10 - looked comfortable on the ball at the back, needed him on top form, thankfully he was his usual reliable self tonight.

Jakub Kiwior: 7/10 - struggled to find rhythm and passing early on, got better as the game wore on against tricky quality opposition.

Myles Lewis Skelly: 7/10 - maturity beyond his years, as strong as anyone on the field, cementing his place in this team with every shift he puts in.

Mikel Merino: 6/10 - quiet in midfield in the first half, marginally  offside for a disallowed goal, mostly subdued overall.

Declan Rice 7.5/10 - deputising for Partey in a deeper role, slowly but surely worked his way into the match as it wore on, missed having Partey alongside him for me.

Martin Odegaard: 7/10 - pressed hard, set pieces not delivered into areas that hurt the opposition, probed and prodded kept trying all night.

Bukayo Saka: 6.5/10 - Not as match ready as we needed him, booked for kicking the ball away, gonna need him in tip top nick for the away leg.

Leandro Trossard: 7/10 - booked early on, struggled to make any impact, gave Arsenal fans a few more grey hairs like his own, with each misplaced pass, unlucky when put through by Rice which produced a fantastic save by Donnaruma.

Gabi Martinelli: 6.5/10 - inches away from an equaliser on 40 minutes after good work from Saka on the left, should have done better a few mins later after being put through by Lewis Skelly.

Subs - no real options to bring on that would have changed the direction of this match.

Ben White - no real chance to make any sort of difference, Champions League semi-final the margins are always gonna be super tight, going to need a stronger bench next year.

Ethan Nwaneri - one minute to make a difference on a tough night at home, can hopefully still make a difference over in Paris, I’d take a punt on him for the second leg as he knows where the goal is.

Crowd rating: When we needed paddy to sing it so well, he tried to stand up, but never truly found his perfect singing pipes tonight, the players were making a point to you the fans all night pointing out just how important your role is in getting us over the line, needed more raucous atmosphere for me.

Despite the officials' inconsistency with the yellow cards and fouls, to be fair PSG looked extremely dangerous in possession all night, especially the front three.
