Chelsea Women v Arsenal team news: Blackstenius starts upfront and Fox returns

Renee Slegers has made five changes from the midweek defeat to Manchester United




Emily Fox returns at right-back as Arsenal Women travel to Stamford Bridge to face rivals Chelsea in the Women’s Super League, after being sidelined for the midweek Subway Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester United.

Anneke Borbe remains in goal as Renee Slegers makes five changes from Wednesday’s 1-0 loss. Stina Blackstenius starts upfront with Alessia Russo in the ten, whilst Frida Maanum is out with illness.

After her red card against United, Olivia Smith is suspended, so Caitlin Foord and Beth Mead start out wide. Kim Little and Steph Catley return to the starting lineup

Kyra Cooney-Cross is working back to full fitness, with Chloe Kelly and Leah Williamson “progressing really well” from injuries according to Renee Slegers
