Arsenal winger Chloe Kelly has been nominated for the 2025 BBC Sports Personality of the Year award.
The Euro 2022 final hero played a crucial role in the Lionesses' European glory this summer, scoring the winning penalty in England's final win over Spain.
Kelly also netted a late winner in the semi-final win over Italy, and also scored from the spot in the quarter-final shootout against Sweden.
The 27-year-old is up against Lionesses teammate Hannah Hampton, as well as Women's Rugby World Cup winner Ellie Kildunne, darts sensation Luke Littler and golf legend Rory McIlroy, as well as recent Formula 1 world champion Lando Norris.
Kelly returned to Arsenal on loan in January this year and featured as the Gunners claimed their second Champions League title, before signing permanently in the summer.
Arsenal midfielder Mariona Caldentey has also been nominated for an accolade, having been shortlisted for the World Sport Star award. Michelle Agyemang, another Euro 2025 star, is one of three athletes who could win Young Sports Personality.
All of the winners will be revealed live on the BBC Sports Personality of the Year show on Thursday, 18 December.
