Could Arsenal Actually Win the Premier League?

Arsenal has had outstanding results in a number of competitions this season, making them one of the clubs in Europe with the best form. In the Premier League, the Gunners have consistently held the number one position as they currently do.

Mikel Arteta's team has also reached the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa League for 2022/23. Just looking at the way they are approaching each game at the moment, the chances of them winning the title are really good.

This article will look at a few reasons why Arsenal might win the Premier League title this year, based on how well the team has done so far.

Their Defence is Good

One of the Premier League's most evenly matched teams this season has been Arsenal. Their defence has been really strong and the team has managed to have among the lowest goals acquired so far. Their goalkeepers are also doing a marvellous job protecting the net and are in the top three in terms of clean sheets.

Gabriel Magalhães and William Saliba have forged a powerful and solid combo at centre-back, and Aaron Ramsdale has proven himself exceptional in goal.

Both Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko have done a great job at right back and left back, and both have been good offensively. The Gunners' chances of winning the title could increase if the defence continues to play this well.

They Have a Consistent and Solid Attack

The attack of the Gunners has been excellent, and they have scored a lot of goals. Arsenal has the second-most goals scored in the Premier League as of the midway point of the current season.

As it became clear how bad Gabriel Jesus's injury was, many experts and fans expected him to do poorly. However, once players like Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah stepped up, their attack grew stronger.

They did a great job of staying consistent, especially considering that a key player who was known for his solid attack strategy was out of commission. Maintaining this level of consistency goes a long way toward winning the matches that count and, eventually, the title match.

Arsenal Wants It Badly

Arsenal hasn't won the Premier League crown since the 2003/04 season—that was almost two decades ago. So it's safe to say that the current crop of club players are driven and ready to reclaim the team's honour. This is clear from how well they have done in the league this year; they are focused and determined. They have their eye on the big prize.

There's no doubt the squad will be extremely disappointed if they don’t win, but there’s every indication that they have a good chance of doing so from where they stand. All they need to do is figure out a way to sustain this level of mental focus and energy.
