Daphne van Domselaar spoke to The Gooner Fanzine after Arsenal Women's 1-0 victory in the WSL against Manchester City.
Van Domselaar appeared as a very late substitute in Arsenal's recent Champions Cup final, replacing a concussed Anneke Borbe, but until then, she'd been sidelined with injury.
Today she played a full 90 minutes and kept a clean sheet against a very strong Manchester City side, she described how she felt to be back on the pitch.
She said: "Really happy to be back on the pitch, I've worked so hard for it and I'm so happy to be back.
"I'm so happy with the team, how we performed today in front of so many fans, so it was a good day.
"Everyone put their bodies on the line and I feel like today we had a solid plan and we executed the plan so I'm happy with that."
