Date confirmed for Arsenal FA Cup tie against Wigan
The date and kick-off time for our FA Cup fourth round tie against Wigan Athletic has been confirmed
With Mikel Arteta's side still in four competitions, the date for the Gunners clash with the Latics in the world's oldest domestic cup competition has been announced.
Following Arteta's side easing past Portsmouth 4-1 at Fratton Park in the third round, the North Londoners were drawn against Wigan, who beat Championship club Preston North End to reach the fourth round.
Arsenal last met in April 2014 when Arsene Wenger's side knocked out the then-holders on penalties after a 1-1 draw at Wembley Stadium in the last four.
The previous May was the last time the League One side visited N5, when we ran out 4-1 victors in the Premier League.
Wigan were also the Gunners opponents for the last-ever game played at Highbury, with the home side emerging 4-2 winners, powered by Thierry Henry's hattrick on a never-to-be-forgotten day at the much-loved old ground.
Arsenal will now host Wigan once again, with the tie to be played at the Emirates on Sunday, February 15, with kick off being set for 430pm.
Wigan are currently in 15th in League One.
The game will be broadcast in the UK on TNT Sports.
