Euro 2025: Chloe Kelly nets winning penalty as Lionesses become European champions, again!

Arsenal stars Mariona Caldentey and Alessia Russo scored in normal time

England are European champions again after beating Spain on penalties, with Chloe Kelly scoring the decisive spot-kick.

Mariona Caldentey and Alessia Russo both netted headers in regular time, with substitute Kelly's cross setting up the Arsenal striker.

The Lionesses held firm in extra time and Alex Greenwood and Niamh Charles netted from the spot before Kelly netted the winner.

Arsenal's Leah Williamson delivered another outstanding defensive display, captaining the Lionesses in their Euro title defence.

Kelly, Williamson, Russo, Beth Mead and Lotte Wubben-Moy have all followed their Champions League title in Lisbon in May by becoming European champions with the Lionesses.

Michelle Agyemang, who featured again from the bench, was voted Young Player of the Tournament after her crucial goals against Sweden and Italy.
