Euro 2025: Mariona Caldentey's Spain beat Germany to set up final against England

Arsenal are guaranteed a Euro 2025 winner after Aitana Bonmati's extra time goal sent Spain to the final

Arsenal Women are guaranteed to have a Euro 2025 winner after Mariona Caldentey's Spain beat Germany to set up a repeat of the 2023 World Cup final against England.

Aitana Bonmati scored in the 113th minute after Spain had failed to break the deadlock in regular time, beating Ann-Katrin Berger from a narrow angle to send Montse Tome's side to Sunday's final.

Caldentey started out wide and was replaced in the 13th minute of extra time as Germany failed to take their chances in a relatively even contest.

Spain will face the Lionesses for the second final in a row, after Arsenal's Chloe Kelly and Michelle Agyemang sealed a dramatic extra time win over Italy on Tuesday.
