FA Cup date confirmed for Mansfield Town vs Arsenal 

The date for Arsenal's FA Cup fifth-round tie at Mansfield Town has been confirmed 

Arsenal have released the following statement: 

"The date for our FA Cup fifth-round tie against Mansfield Town has been confirmed and will take place on Saturday, March 7.

"The game at the League One side's One Call Stadium will kick off at 1215pm, and will be broadcast live in the UK on TNT Sports 1."

The League One side have beaten Harrogate Town, Accrington Stanley, Sheffield United and Burnley to reach this stage, coming from behind to knock out the Clarets 2-1 at Turf Moor to secure their place in the fifth round for the first time in more than 50 years. 

The clash will be only the second-ever meeting between the sides, with our last clash coming nearly a century ago, back in 1929,  when Arsenal won 2-0 against the Stags, also in the FA Cup.

Arsenal added: "Ticket information to be confirmed in due course."
