The two best teams in Europe face each other in what could be a titanic clash at the Emirates.

Vincent Kompany’s side have also made a perfect start in Europe's top domestic competiton, brushing off Chelsea, Pafos and Club Brugge before beating holders Paris Saint-Germain away earlier, that saw the mercurial Luis Diaz grab a brace before being sent off for a shocking challenge. 

It promises to be a blockbuster that you simply can't miss.

Arsenal vs Bayern Munich team news

Arsenal 

Noni Madueke, Gabriel Jesus, and Gabriel Martinelli both trained with the first team squad on Tuesday at London Colney, along with Gunners captain Martin Odegaard.

While Riccardo Calafiori has shook off a hip issue to also be in contention. 

Star striker Viktor Gyokeres is still working his way to back to full fitness wiith a training programme specifically tailored for the Swedish striker, who did not train with the squad during their open session for the media 24 hours ago. 

Influential centre-back Gabriel is still out, and will be for 'weeks' yet, however, summer arrival Piero Hincapie showed his defensive attributes during the magnificent 4-1 rout of sorry Spurs during the North London derby, and is expected to start against Bayern. Kai Havertz also remains out. 

Bayern Munich team news

Captain Manuel Neuer has recovered from illness, and started against Freiburg last time out, while Joshua Kimmich and Hiroki Ito were also both involved after injury. 

Former Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry missed the game with a knock that he picked up on international duty with Germany, while teen sensation Lennart Karl also has a small issue. 

Former Liverpool attacker Luis Diaz is suspended after receiving a three-game ban from UEFA for his bad tackle on Achraf Hakimi against PSG, which earned his a straight red card.

Boss Kompany faces a dilemma as to who to draft in as a replacement in his three-pronged attack alongside Olise and Kane.
