Arsenal aiming to get back on track as Premier League title race resumes

Prologue

Arsenal host high-flying Nottingham Forest at the Emirates today, Saturday (November 23) when fourth plays fifth.

Nuno Gomes side have surprised many during their ascent to a single spot outside the top four, while Mikel Arteta's Gunners have struggled for form, with one win in four prior to the interminable 13 day international break.

Quite simply, if Arsenal have pretentions of winning the Premier League they have to beat Forest. Lose and they'll drop ouf of the top four, in a tightly-contested division.

To make matters worse, Pep Guardiola's side have lost their last four games - allowing Arne Slot's Liverpool to extend their lead at the top of the table while Arteta's Arsenal have floundered.
