Arsenal face Wolves at Molineux in a must-win Premier League clash this Saturday afternoon

Prologue

New Wolves head coach Vitor Pereira will be hoping for better luck that the stats suggest, with Wolves having lost the last seven Premier League meetings against the Gunners, since doing the double over Arsenal in the 2020-21 season.

Wolves have beaten Arsenal just twice at home in 15 meetings in all competitions since 1978.

Mikel Arteta will be hoping for his side to start winning to stay on the coattails of Liverpool boss Arnie Slot's table toppers, with the North Londoners starting the day six points behind the Merseysiders, with the Reds also having a game in hand, albeit at Goodison Park against city rivals Everton next month.

Quite simply Arsenal need a win today at what will be a raucous Molineux, against Pereira's relegation threatened Wolves.
