Jessie Gale has joined WSL2 side Portsmouth F.C. on loan for the 25/26 season.

Having only joined the Arsenal academy aged 17, Gale hasn’t been in North London for long, but experienced regular spells training with the first team whilst on dual registration with Watford last season.

She signed her first professional contract with the Gunners in July 2025 and will now head into her first full season in the second tier.

Gale joins Portsmouth, who will be pushing to improve on their recent ninth place finish, giving the young striker the chance to develop with them.
