Vivianne Miedema will miss Arsenal Women's game against Manchester City after she needed "minor treatment on her knee," Jonas Eidevall said in his pre-match press conference.

Miedema returned from knee surgery to feature for Arsenal against Leicester City last month, but was an unused substitute in the Gunners' draw with Everton.

Eidevall confirmed that Sabrina D'Angelo will return to Arsenal's squad to face Manchester City after the goalkeeper missed the Everton game.

Young striker Michelle Agyemang, who signed a professional contract on Friday, May 2, could be registered by Arsenal for the final two games.

Eidevall said: “We’re looking into that with the registration… if it is possible, we’re going to try and do that.”
