Leicester City v Arsenal Women team news: Hinds, Codina and Blackstenius start

Arsenal are without four key players to take on the Foxes

Arsenal Women are without a number of key players as the Gunners return to league action away at Leicester City following the international break.

Olivia Smith, Frida Maanum, Lotte Wubben-Moy and Kyra Cooney-Cross are all not involved in the squad to take on the Foxes.

Smith is out with a bruised hip, and Maanum a knock- both sustained on international duty. Wubben-Moy and Cooney-Cross are ill, with the former building up to match fitness.

Taylor Hinds starts at right-back with Emily Fox on the bench, with Laia Codina replacing Wubben-Moy.

Stina Blackstenius is given the nod upfront, with Alessia Russo in the ten.

Under-21 players Sophie Harwood and Amy Liddiard are named on the bench, with just five senior outfield players available in addition.

Arsenal: van Domselaar; McCabe, Catley, Codina, Hinds; Caldentey, Little; Foord, Russo, Mead; Blackstenius.

Subs: Borbe, Liddiard, Fox, Kelly, Pelova, Nighswonger, Reid, Harwood.
