Chelsea have beaten Leicester 6-0 at Kingsmeadow to close the gap on Manchester United at the top of the table to one point, with a game in hand.

Arsenal have been really sloppy here and thanks to that stop by Zinsberger and some excellent Beattie defending their clean sheet is still intact.

The teams are emerging from the tunnel for the second half, with Arsenal's Kuhl and Blackstenius looking very relaxed as they chat on the halfway line before we get back underway. Rafaelle is replaced by fellow Brazilian Gio at the break.

As things stand Arsenal move into the top three (the Champions League places) on goal difference, which is certainly improving after that first 45 minutes. Brighton will have to wait a little longer before they can confirm their WSL safety, with games against Everton and Leicester to come. 0-4

Blackstenius’ early brace put Arsenal in control and the Gunners were able to finish the first half like they started it, with goals from midfield duo Maanum and Pelova. Brighton lost 8-0 to Spurs here earlier this season in what became Hope Powell's final game in charge, and this has the potential to be almost as ugly for the home side.

Very interesting to see how Arsenal will operate with this change- it's not a like-for-like replacement at all and somebody will have to step up in defensive midfield. Perhaps Pelova can do a job there, or will one of Arsenal's back three step in? We shall find out.

One very late change to Arsenal's starting lineup as Lia Walti drops to the bench due to illness, with Jodie Taylor coming in for the Swiss midfielder.

Frida Maanum's fine curled finish in the second half was the difference as Arsenal overcame a plucky Leicester side on Friday night at Meadow Park. Katie McCabe won an early penalty after being brought down by Hannah Cain, but her effort was saved by Janina Leitzig, who denied multiple Arsenal shots over the course of the game. Jonas Eidevall was correct in his assessment that the Gunners deserved to win the tie though, with a number of chances not finding the back of the net.

Chelsea lead Leicester in the other WSL game this evening. Gurto Reiten's 7th minute goal moves the Blues to within a point of Manchester United as it stands.

Arsenal will move into the Champions League places if they win tonight, taking third place from Manchester City on goal difference. League leaders Manchester United and third placed Man City have played 20 games, whilst Arsenal and second placed Chelsea have played 18.

Interesting to see that Arsenal's ten starting outfield players are warming up separately to the substitutes whilst doing similar possession drills.

Melissa Phillips has taken Brighton from bottom of the WSL to 9th place, five points clear of the relegation zone. A win tonight would confirm the Seagulls' place in the top flight for next season, with Phillips doing a superb job to turn things around after replacing Jens Scheuer just over a month ago.

Both teams are out to warm up here at Broadfields Stadium, the home of Crawley Town.

Caitlin Foord is also fit enough for the bench after over a month on the sidelines after picking up an injury in the 2-1 win over Manchester City at the start of April.

Freya Godfrey is also amongst the substitutes after scoring the goal for Ipswich Town to beat Oxford United on the weekend, to help Watford win the title in the Southern Premier Division!

Young central midfielder Ruby Doe is on the bench for Arsenal- she joined Watford on a dual-registration agreement last month.

Arsenal's only change from the 1-0 win against Leicester on Friday comes between the sticks, with Manu Zinsberger coming back in for Sabrina D'Angelo.

Foord is nearing a return, whilst Catley went off injured after coming on against Leicester as a substitute.
