Maddy Earl returns to Arsenal from Ipswich Town loan move

Maddy Earl has returned to Arsenal from her season-long loan with Ipswich Town.

The 19-year-old midfielder joined the Tractor Girls in the summer but has not made an appearance since coming on as a substitute against Sunderland on December 21.

Ipswich stated: "We would like to thank Maddy for her contributions and wish her all the best for the future."

Colchester-born Earl came through Arsenal's academy and signed her first professional contract in January 2025.

The England Under-19 international struggled for minutes on loan spells with Sheffield United and Bristol City last season.
