Arsenal's interest in Ajax’s €35m prolific striker is growing after the star issued come and get me plea.

Netherlands' centre-forward Brian Brobbey - who has made the 26 man cut for the forthconing European Champions - has been on the Gunners radar for a while after netting 22 goals in 42 matches last season.

Sporting director Edu is also attracted to the player's transfer tag - which would be far cheaper that other long-term targets such as Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney.

Brobbey, who came through Ajax’s youth ranks, has been developing a reputation as one of the most exciting young strikers in Dutch football.

The prolific forward recently issued a come-and-get-me plea to Arsenal, with Brobbey candidly revealing it would be a dream come true to move to the Emirates.

When the Netherlands international was asked where he would like to play in the future, he told HELDEN Magazine: “Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham, those are nice clubs. But, if I stay at Ajax, that is certainly not a punishment.”

The 22-year-old has just had a breakthrough 2023-24 season with the Eredivisie giants, finding the back of the net 22 times across all competitions.
