Bukayo Saka's goal in the 52nd minute was enough to seal victory for Mikel Arteta's Gunners in Singapore on the opening match of their Asia tour.

Amid a raft of substitutions in a low key match, teen talent Max Dowman made his first team bow at the National Stadium. 

The exhibiton match saw Milan win 6-5 on penalties after spot-kicks were taken to entertain the fans.

David Raya: 7/10 - Quiet first half before being replaced by Kepa at the interval 

Ben White: 7/10 - First half shot flew wide. Switched with promising youngster Josh Nicholls as the clock ticked down 

William Saliba: 7/10 - Looked sharp when required and certainly quelled Milan's English attacker Loftus-Cheek before giving way to yong gun Marli Salmon 

Riccardo Calafiori: 7//10 - Supplemented attacking forways prior to being switched at the interval for Jakub Kiwior 

Alex Zinchenko: 6/10 - Solid without ever impressing but thoughts could be on a move away from the Emirates before the season starts in earnest 

Christian Norgaard: 6.5/10 - Good to see the Dane (and former Firorentina midfielder) make his unofficial Arsenal debut against the Serie A giants and getting a valuable 45 minutes in his legs before being replaced by fellow new boy Zubimendi

Declan Rice: 7/10 - Early shot flew over as he eased his way back into first team football before beign replaced by Mikel Merino midway through the second half 

Ethan Nwaneri: 8/10 - Looked lively in the opening stages including a first half effort form outside the box and was the standout player in the first half before being switched for Martin Odegaard at the break

Bukayo Saka: 8/10 - Captain for the day, and another who eased himself back into action before underlining his class by putting the Gunners ahead in the 52nd minute. Swapped for teenage sensation Max Dowman midway through the second half but let's not forget Saka is still on 23. Incredible. 

Gabi Martinelli: 6/10 - Switched at the break after feeling his way back into first team action 

Kai Havertz: 7/10 - Worked hard throughout and will have savoured nearly a full game after fighting his way back from a serious hamstring issue. Second half header flew wide when well-placed before beign replaced by Reiss Nelson on 79 minutes 

Substitutes: 

Kepa: 7/10 - Switched for Raya at the interval and ensured a clean sheet for both keepers 

Martin Odegaard: 7.5/10 - On for Nwaneri at the break. Effort flew wide as the Norway midfielder eased his way back, with a late left-footed shot being saved by Milan's second half keeper Lorenzo Torriani

Myles Lewis-Skelly: 7/10 - Replaced Zinchenko after the first half

Leo Trossard: 7/10 - On for Martinelli at half time and nearly scored late on with a chance that flew wide 

Martin Zubimendi: 7/10 - On after the break for his first appearance in Arsenal colours after comng on for fellow new boy Norgaard

Jakub Kiwior: 7.5/10 - Swapped for Calafiori for the second half and earned an assist with an excellent ball into the box for Saka's strike 

Max Dowman: 7/10 - Good to note 15-year-old teen sensation Max Dowman replaced Saka for his first team bow on 66 minutes. A lot is expected of the young attacker this season but let's not forget he hasn't even got his GCSE's yet..

Mikel Merino: 7.5/10 - Came on for Rice and had a header saved with 15 mintues remaining 

Josh Nicholls: 7/10 - On for White. Another really promising youngster aiming to kick on again this forthcoming season, who made his first team debut during the 5-1 victory over Bolton last year 

Marli Salmon: 6.5/10 - Replaced William Saliba

Reiss Nelson: 6/10 - On for Kai Havertz with 11 minutes remaining but will surely be surplus to requirements at Arsenal
