David Raya: 8/10 - clean sheet to help the ruthless Gunners to a vital victort in the bearpiut that is Elland Road

Jurrien Timber: 8/10 - every bit as good going forwards as Saliba, linking well with Noni when the chance arose, more importantly part of a swarm of players to work hard to get the ball back every single time we lost it, the Arsenal Press is a joy to behold today, gets booked for a forearm to the mush of a Leeds player on 58 mins.

Gabriel: 8/10 - playing with a calm confidence at the back, eases centre forwards off with a nudge, happy playing a back pass with his head, take the clean sheet and go again.

William Saiba: 7/10 - getting forwards at every opportunity, carrying the ball well, instrumental in breaking Leeds hearts as the game wore on

Piero Hincapie: 7/10 - absolutely played his part in his first experience of a charged up Elland Road, replaced by Calafiori late on with the job done at 3-0, well played sir.

Martin Zubimendi: 8/10 - failed to get any power on our first shot on target but redeems himself with a glanced header to make it 1-0 and all is forgiven from last week. The relief was evident as he ran away in celebration. That first goal was vital, a solid display as the ole’s later rang out in the dying seconds of a 4-0 romp away.

Declan Rice: 8/10 - sitting deep with Zubi in a 4-2-4 in the first half just to prove the point that even the most laziest of armchair pundits can play football manager and get confused that they are actually Mikel Arteta. A solid performance from super half price again Jeff.

Noni Madueke: 8/10 - An unexpected start after Bukayo Saka was withdrawn before kick off after picking up an injury in the warm-up. Provided the assist for Zubi’s header and helped put us 2-0 up from the corner. Replaced on 60 minutes by Gabi Martinelli after a good afternoon's work

Kai Havertz: 6/10 - clearly a bit of ring rust affecting his game and going on previous form, Arteta will be playing him back into form as he has been one of the first names on the team sheet, which is bad news for both Odegaard and Eze, Odegaard eventually gets on the pitch as Kai is replaced on 60 minutes with the points in the bag.

Leo Trossard: 8/10 - becoming ever more important in this squad, busy early on, at both ends of the field, industrious, tenacious, good in possession, hungry when he’s not, a good days work here as he is replaced by Eze with 10 minutes left, more than justified his starting place for me Jeff.

Viktor Gyokeres: 8/10 - Viktor Van Battering Ram, clattered early on, no foul given, did a good job of powering his way around the top half of the pitch and showed some surprisingly good touches. Should have scored after being fed by Leo one on one with the keeper but allows the Leeds defender to clear for a corner. On 68 minutes he is in the right place to volley past the Leeds keeper to make it 3-0 before 75 being replaced by Jesus shortly afterwards. Another good outing for the Gyokeres against Leeds this season.

Substitues:

Gabriel Martinelli: 8/10 - replaces a tiring Madueke on 60 minutes who put in a heroic shift today, very influential on a vital day for the Gunners. On 68 minutes provided the pinpoint cross for the Gyok to stab it home to make it 3-0.

Martin Odegaard: 8/10 - A big call by Mikel Arteta to drop him to the bench with Kai Havertz chosen ahead of him. Duly grabbed an assist as Jesus slotted home for the fourth after replacing Havertz with the game won

Gabriel Jesus: 8/10 - made it onto the pitch with 15 minutes remaining, as he replaces Viktor Van Battering ram who had a day out to remember up at Elland Road. Ten minutes later he puts the cherry on this cake with a late fourth. Simply majestic work on his own in the box, that one will get better the more you watch it

Riccardo Calafiori: 8/10 - replaces Piero Hincapie late on, Arteta once again emphasises he knows what he is doing as he seeks to put this game to bed, take the three points, rotate the squad and somehow keep everyone happy including the erratic sometimes rabid online Arsenal fanbase.

Crowd watch:

Leeds is always an intimidating atmosphere and one of the worst places you would choose to head to if accusations of a wobble are in the air.

However Arsenal showed immense character to win the gamne and move seven points clear.

Pressure? What pressure?
