Arsenal U21’s will be looking to build on the recent 1-0 win over Brighton in Saturday’s encounter at home to Wolves.
Max Porter’s side have collected four points from the opening three games of the season, starting with a narrow 3-2 defeat to Fulham, followed by a hard fought 2-2 draw away at Nottingham Forest which preceded the narrow win over the Seagulls.
The Gunners currently occupy 13th place in the 29-team table at this early stage of the season, whilst our visitors sit in 4th place with seven points from nine. They will be a difficult nut to crack.
James Collins’ side have beaten Lancashire duo Blackburn and Burnley this season although we did win our last meeting against Wolves in August last year as a Nathan Butler-Oyedeji brace and a goal from the temporarily departed Ismeal Kabia helped us to a 3-1 win on that occasion.
Highlights will be made available after the game on Arsenal.com.
