Arsenal Women are reportedly looking to strengthen their goalkeeping group with the signing of Germany Under-23 international Laura Dick.
The 22-year-old shot-stopper has spent her entire career with Hoffenheim, where she is under contract until 2028 after penning a three-year extension last summer.
Sky Sport Germany reported that Arsenal have already submitted an offer to the Frauen Bundesliga side, who are fourth in the table.
The Gunners are without Manu Zinsberger for the entire season due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury, whilst Daphne van Domselaar has been sidelined since November.
Anneke Borbe made a crucial save in Arsenal’s goalless draw with Manchester United, but at times has had to play through pain in her run of games before Christmas. Arsenal recalled Naomi Williams from her loan with Bristol City earlier this month.
Hoffenheim beat PSV Eindhoven 4-1 in a friendly yesterday, with Dick starting in goal. Gabor Gallai’s side return to competitive action from the winter break on Sunday January 25.
Dick has played for Germany from Under-15 level, and was involved in their Nations League squad for games against France in October.
