Seven Arsenal Women players have been nominated for the Ballon d’Or, including four who have claimed European glory for club and country this summer.
Arsenal and England stars Leah Williamson, Alessia Russo and Chloe Kelly have been recognised, as well as midfielders Mariona Caldentey and Frida Maanum.

Defenders Emily Fox and Steph Catley complete the nominations, with the world’s best player set to be crowned on September 22 in Paris.
Arsenal head coach Renée Slegers has been nominated for the Johan Cruyff Trophy, awarded to the best manager for a club or national side.
Michelle Agyemang, who is reportedly set to join Brighton on loan, has been recognised for her Euro 2025 heroics. The 19-year-old has been shortlisted for the Kopa Trophy, which encompasses the best players under the age of 21.
Dutch shot-stopper Daphne van Domselaar could claim the Kopa Trophy, awarded to the best goalkeeper. Van Domselaar kept 14 clean sheets in her first season with the Gunners, most notably in the Champions League final.
Finally, Arsenal Women are nominated for the Women’s Club of the Year. The Gunners will go up against Chelsea, Barcelona, Lyon and Orlando Pride for the award.
