So-Called Impartial Pundits Are Embarrassing In Their Hate For Arsenal And Anti-Arteta Agenda

Anti-Arsenal narratives change by the week and it's all to do with hating Mikel Arteta's Premier League leaders

Following Manchester City’s late win over Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, we saw yet another shift in the media narrative concerning the title race.

After we recorded a convincing 3-0 win over Sunderland, we went nine points clear for a day.

This followed from our thumping 4-0 win away to Leeds and many were declaring the title race was over.

Of course, had City lost at Anfield, which they were set to do with fewer than ten minutes to go, we would now be nine points clear with thirteen to go.

But even if that had transpired, would the title race have been over? No.

With that many games still to play the title race can never be considered “over” unless the gap is so insurmountable, for example 15 points would probably be an uncatchable gap at this stage of a season. But even then, that’s just a figure I’ve pulled out the air.

The truth is nobody knows what is about to unfold.

But how can it be that the narrative can flip from one side to the other at a whim?

Had City lost on Sunday the narrative would’ve declared the title race to be over.

We know this because we all saw the narrative the goons at Sky Sports were pushing after City blew a 2-0 lead to Spurs.

But if a narrative can flip based on the events of a ten-minute period at the end of a 90-minute game, then clearly whatever narrative was previously being fronted was constructed on seriously thin grounds.

We all know that many of these media outlets, whether it be Sky or one of the many fan led platforms we see these days, exist to gain clicks and traction.

And for whatever reason, Arsenal seems to be the club that gets more clicks than any other.

These media outlets know that a quick and easy way to get clicks is to talk about Arsenal. “Set piece goals don’t count”,” Arsenal will bottle it” and xyz.

The narratives surrounding Arsenal seem to change by the week and maybe that’s a symptom of the reactive mind of the modern football fan.

But why is it Arsenal specifically who so many people are desperate to fail?

Well, I think that the media has invested so much time mocking us and singling us out over the years that people have painted this mental image in their heads painting Arsenal as this villainous like figure who is the root of all evil.

What it shows is the dangerous power the media and some of these so-called pundits have over us.

They come up with a pre-determined agenda and people listen to it, absorb it and treat it as though its fact.

When the alternative to Arsenal winning the league is the title going to a club that is bankrolled by a nation backed oil state in which basic human rights do not apply to women and those of the LGBT community, and it is that club who most non-Arsenal fans are rooting for, what does that tell you about the power of the media and their dangerous agendas?

When Gary Neville, a man who spent the entirety of his career at Manchester United, is on commentary gagging for a City winner to close the gap on Arsenal what does that tell you about his employers and the message they want their employees to convey to their customers?

These people are supposed to be impartial.

And perhaps once upon a time they were, before they were swayed by the hefty cheques coming their way.

But impartiality does not sell headlines. Neither does logic nor rationality. Neither of which seem to be applied when it comes to Arsenal.

I do believe for these reasons that it is ultimately the media who want us to fail. Rival fans only want us to fail because they have been subliminally instructed to by the media.

You can’t entirely blame them although you would like to think that by now more people would’ve learned how to think for themselves.

Dislike Arsenal because you want to not because you have been told to.
