Subway Cup draw: Arsenal Women discover quarter-final opponents

Renee Slegers’ side will face second tier opposition in December

Arsenal Women will face WSL2 side Crystal Palace away in the quarter-finals of the Subway Cup.

The quarter-final clash will take place on either Saturday December 20 or Sunday December 21. Full fixture details will be confirmed in due course.

Should Arsenal progress, they will play either Manchester United or Tottenham at home in January in the semi-finals.

Arsenal qualified for the quarter-finals by virtue of playing in this season’s Champions League, along with Chelsea and Manchester United.

The Gunners won the League Cup in consecutive seasons before losing to Manchester City in last season’s semi-finals. Chelsea are the current holders.

Crystal Palace beat higher tier Leicester City 3-0 to finish top of Group D and qualify for the knockout stages. The Eagles were relegated from the Women's Super League last season.
