The England captain will skipper the Gunners today as she starts for the first time since May

Renée Slegers has named her starting lineup as Arsenal prepare to face Crystal Palace in the Subway Cup quarter-final.

Leah Williamson gets her first start since the Champions League final due to a lengthy recovery spell from a knee injury.

Laia Codina will partner her at the back, with Emily Fox and Katie McCabe on either side of them.

Kim Little, Mariona Caldentey and Alessia Russo all drop to the bench, meaning Stina Blackstenius starts up front and Victoria Pelova, Kyra Cooney-Cross and Frida Maanum make up the midfield.

On the wings, Slegers will start Caitlin Foord and Olivia Smith, with Beth Mead on the bench.

Full Arsenal lineup: Borbe, Fox, Codina, Williamson, McCabe, Maanum, SMith, Foord, Pelova, Blackstenius, Cooney-Cross

Subs: Wubben-Moy, Catley, Caldentey, Mead, Little, Russo, Hinds, Harwood Liddiard
