Three things we learned from Sunday’s 2-0 win over Liverpool at Prenton Park, ahead of our clash with West Ham this weekend.

1 - Vivianne Miedema is feeling like herself again!

Her first goal back since her ACL injury, and what a goal!

She said herself that she wants to get back to her old self and maybe be even better than the old her.

If this performance is anything to go by, we’re in for a treat for the rest of the season. She looked good physically and said in her post match interview that she doesn’t feel as scared about her knee anymore which is great to hear.

You can see with each game she plays that she feels a bit more confident to take on defenders and put her body on the line.

It’s great to see, and it will be a big boost for us if she can get back to the goalscoring form we have all seen her produce before.

2 -Every game feels like a home game

This team is really together, and the fans continue to be with them.

The scenes when Viv scored reminded me of the North Bank at Borehamwood.

You can also see that the team are benefiting from the gradual returns of Viv, Leah and Beth, which have incrementally boosted morale a little bit each time a player returns.

There was a definite togetherness and spirit on show in this game. The first half was frustrating and Liverpool defended well, but the team never gave up and kept working hard.

This has been a feature of this season at times, and it’s really enjoyable when the team gets what they deserve.

3 - Caitlin Foord is on fire

She has scored in the last three games. She’s started the new year with a bang and long may this continue. Great work by Fox and Russo in the build up to the goal too.

Foord is always notable for her willingness to try new things. In many games, her driving runs with the ball have caused problems for defenses as they are so direct.

It’s one of her key strengths, but something she has worked on recently is moving centrally to create space and to be in the right position to finish if a ball comes in.

That certainly happened here. Her work rate often goes unnoticed I feel as well. Key player for us, and the badge tap when she scored was brilliant.
