West Ham United 0-6 (SIX) Arsenal as Gunners thrash Irons

Arsenal thrash West Ham in the East End

Majestic Arsenal routed London rivals West Ham at the former Olynmpic Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Mikel Arteta's imperious Gunners scored six without reply as the North Londoners thrashed David Moyes side in East London.

The result saw Arsenal move level on points with second place Manchester City, only two behind Liverpool.

Four first half goals put Arsenal firmly in charge, with strikes coming from William Saliba (32), Bukayao Saka (41 pen), Gabriel (44) and Leandro Trossard (45+2) prior to Saka adding a second and his side's fifth on 63 minutes - before former Hammer Declan Rice sealed matters with a strike against his former club to make it 6-0.

Speaking after the match Gunners captain Martin Odegaard admitted: "We were fantastic."
