Arsenal slumped to a disappointing 1-0 defeat against bitter rivals Spurs in Hong Kong to round-off their three mach tour of Asia.
Mikel Arteta's Gunners beat AC Milan (1-0) and Newcastle United (3-2) in Singapore, before playing the first North London derby outside England on Wednesday, where they fell to a never-to-be-repeated long-range effort from Pape Sarr at the Kai Tak Stadium.
However, as all true Gooners know, and understand, the only thing that matters is that the team are as well prepared as possible, and raring to go for the start of the Premier League season, when Arsenal travel to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United on Sunday, August 17.
With two home matches next week, both against Spanish opposition, the Gunners pre-season continues apace.
In the meantime, find out who impressed in Hong Kong with our Gooner Fanzine Player Ratings
David Raya: 6/10- I don’t think he can really be blamed for the goal. It was an ok pass to MLS who was clearly fouled. Otherwise, fine.
MLS: 6/10 - Ditto Raya. If the ref doesn’t do his job, there’s not a lot you can do.
William Saliba: 6/10- Didn’t really put a foot wrong. He was only playing Richarlison in fairness.
Jakub Kiwior: 6/10- More minutes in the legs. With Gabriel yet to play in pre-season, the Pole’s chances ofstarting at Old Trafford are increasing by the day.
Ben White: 6/10- Got forward well at times. Crossing wasn’t the best. Not sure where Timber is but White is a trusty back-up option.
Christian Norgaard: 6/10 - He’s like a slightly more technical Elneny. Keeps the ball moving without doinganything extravagant. He will have an important role to play this season.
Declan Rice: 5/10- Looked a little rusty but basically fine.
Martin Odegaard: 6.5/10 - He did try to make things happen, but nothing came off for anyone today. I amencouraged by his pre-season displays so far. Expecting a lot from him this season.
Bukayo Saka: 6/10 - Got double marked, most dangerous player in red, got fouled a lot. Standard day at the office. Good luck double marking him with Gyokeres on the pitch
Gabi Martinelli: 6/10 - Received very little support as usual. We need someone on that LHS to give him ahand.
Kai Havertz: 4.5/10 - Really quite poor. I suspect he knows his days of being Arsenal’s main number nine are numbered.
I haven’t rated any of our subs as they weren’t on long enough. But honourable mentions to Gyokeres and Mosquera for making their debuts.
Welcome to the Arsenal family chaps.
