Suzy Lycett's World Champions Gallery: Arsenal Women's triumph

Arsenal Women triumphed in the first-ever Women's Champions Cup after beating Corinthians after extra time in a rain-lashed final at the Emirates on Sunday evening.

Renee Slegers' side were moments away from a 2-1 win in normal time, but Vic Albuquerque slotted home a 96th-minute spot-kick, as the South American champions took the game into extra time.

However, to the delight of the majority of the 25,301 crowd in N5, Gunners substitute Caitlin Foord grabbed the winner in the 104th minute to break the Brazil side's hearts on a memorable evening for the current Champions League holders, who can now add the title World Champions, to their European bauble.

Photographer Suzy Lycett was at the Emirates on Sunday to capture the best images of a memorable evening, alongside our reporting team Freddie Cardy, and Izzy Gilligan.
